Illustrations
One shared library of NepWalk illustrations (D9). Every illustration is saved here, and
reused from here. Do not draw new ones inline in a page, prototype or component; add them
to this folder first, so the same drawing means the same thing everywhere.
- Source of truth: this folder,
docs/design/illustrations/. The app uses a copy in
nepwalk-fe/public/illustrations/ (same folder names). Change a drawing here first, then copy it.
- Fallbacks: a place without a photo uses its
places/ icon; a Paila, journal or region card
without a photo uses its regions/ scene.
- New illustration: add it here with a short "use it for" line, in the same style (NepWalk
greens, warm neutrals, no emojis, no sacred symbols out of context).
- Prototypes stay self-contained (D8): copy the SVG markup into the prototype file.
- Made for the landing prototype (
docs/v1/designs/landing-v2.html), 24 Oct 2026.
