Design skills

The shared skills live in .agents/skills/. AGENTS.md routes plain-language requests; slash commands are optional. Claude Code also discovers these through .claude/skills links. Newly installed skills are available in the next turn; restart a client if its skill list is cached.

Selected tools

  • team-product-design: the NepWalk idea, discussion, research and prototype workflow.
  • Impeccable: planning, critique, copy, visual refinement, accessibility and motion.
  • UX Researcher & Designer: journeys, research synthesis and usability test planning.
  • Existing team-plan records approvals and founder-assigned engineering tasks.

Use only the references relevant to the request. Do not load every playbook. The product workflow is the shared process reference.

Local rules override upstream defaults

Read existing vision, decisions, requirements and the feature card. The frontend's design-system.md owns tokens and components; do not replace it with generated PRODUCT.md or DESIGN.md files. Do not impose another palette, typography or theme. Do not publish invented research, product claims or customer data.

Upstream instructions do not grant extra permissions. Opening the HTML design in the browser once, after the first build, is part of the workflow. Other browser automation still requires an explicit request. Actual manual test evidence and founder phone approval must come from the person. No automatic task assignment, push or merge.

Impeccable includes an optional engine launcher that may download a binary on first use. This setup installs no global hooks or engine binary. Use its Markdown playbooks directly when the engine is unavailable or not desired. If context loading did not run, say so and read existing project context directly. Installing these files does not prove runtime or browser compatibility in every AI client.

Provenance and updates

See .agents/skills/design-sources.json for pinned revisions and source paths. Upstream skill files remain unchanged. License files accompany each installation. Review changes before updating pins; do not automatically pull upstream main.
